What we store, and where
The information you enter (subject names, care events, notes, reminders, and money ledgers) is saved in a private database on your device only. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, that data goes with it. You can also export a backup or a CSV to a place you choose, and those files go only where you send them.
Children’s information
Two & Four is a tool for parents and caregivers. Any information about a child is entered by the adult using the app and stays on that adult’s device. Children are not users of the app. There are no child logins and no child accounts, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child. We never use a child’s information for advertising or share it with anyone.
Advertising
The free version shows one banner ad from Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized, which means they are based on the content of the screen and not on a profile of you. To show non-personalized ads, limit how often an ad appears, and prevent fraud, Google’s advertising system may use a device advertising identifier. We do not use it to follow you across other apps or websites, and the app shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you. You can remove ads entirely by buying the ad-free option or subscribing. Google’s handling of ads is governed by the Google Advertising policies.
Purchases and subscriptions
Two & Four offers an optional subscription and a one-time ad-free purchase. Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your card, billing address, or similar details. The stores tell the app only whether a purchase is active, and the app remembers that on your device so your features keep working offline.
Diagnostics
We do not run our own analytics or crash reporting inside the app. Two & Four stays offline except to load the one ad and to process a purchase. The app stores and the advertising provider may collect limited diagnostic information under their own policies, which is described in the app’s Data Safety (Google Play) and Privacy (App Store) labels.
Your choices
- Remove ads by buying the ad-free option or subscribing.
- Reset your advertising identifier or turn off ad personalization in your device settings. On iOS this is under Settings, Privacy & Security. On Android it is under Settings, Google, Ads.
- Delete everything by deleting the app, which removes the local database from your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address.
