This Privacy Policy describes how Bhaktee (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Bhaktee (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and display name.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including pages viewed, features used, and time spent in the App.
  • Device Information: We collect information about your device, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Crash Data: We automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the App experiences errors. This data includes stack traces, device state at the time of the crash, and App version information. This is collected through Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Performance Data: We collect App performance data to help us improve the App experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App
  • Improve, personalise, and expand the App
  • Understand and analyse how you use the App
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes
  • Monitor App stability and performance
  • Send you notifications (with your permission)
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Firebase and Google Services

We use several Firebase services provided by Google LLC, including:

  • Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports and diagnostics to help us identify and fix bugs. Crashlytics may collect device identifiers, crash traces, and App state information. For more information, see Firebase Privacy Information.
  • Firebase Authentication: Used to manage user sign-in securely.
  • Firebase Firestore: Used to store and sync App data.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to deliver push notifications.
  • Firebase Remote Config: Used to update App settings without requiring an update.
  • Firebase Analytics: Used to understand usage patterns within the App.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the App, including Google (Firebase). These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Crash and diagnostic data collected through Firebase Crashlytics is retained for up to 90 days.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
